My first visit to Bangkok

I vividly remember my experience the first time I visited Thailand, it was a challenging one for me as I had just undergone Laparoscopic surgery. I was still recuperating at that time so I had to be more cautious not to tire myself too much. I still felt pain and uncomfortable that I had to wear loose dress and of course a pair of flat comfortable shoes.

Most of all, I had to avoid lifting heavy objects. The worst thing was I had to control my diet not to over eat. To me, it was kind of a torture in a way since I was in a place with the real and authentic “Thai food” – which I love. In spite of all that, I couldn’t resist feasting on fresh fruits that’s cheap and abundantly available everywhere.

The temperature is scorching hot almost all year-round in Bangkok and when I was there I would always carry a bottle of water whenever I left the hotel so as to hydrate myself. Luckily, some of the famous attractions are located just in close proximity to my hotel.
Oftentimes roads are jammed with traffic which can be very exhausting. But there’s always an easy and comfortable way to get from one to another important site in this busy capital of the “Amazing Thailand”.

Thankfully, in spite of my challenging situation I had managed to visit and see the city’s important and touristy places. As they say, “If there’s a will, there’s a way!”
