Business Bay Canal views

Business Bay area is probably one of the ideal places to live or stay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the business center district comprising hundreds of commercial and residential buildings and with more new developments already started. For those who are visiting the U.A.E for tourism or for work, I can say that it is a perfect area that can be recommended to book your accommodation considering its wide range of hotels and hotel apartments. Its close proximity to Dubai International Airport terminals makes it reachable in less than 30 minutes by Dubai Metro, or by a multitude of taxis.

Whether you are on a tight budget, or looking to experience luxurious Arabian hospitality that Dubai has to offer, you can surely find it here in Business Bay and in Downtown Dubai. It is where you can find most of Dubai’s skyscrapers such as the iconic Burj Khalifa, or “Khalifa Tower”. As we know, The Burj Khalifa has its reputation as being the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009 and is the TOP must-see or must-visit the observation deck on the 124th level for people travelling to the U.A.E.

It is the second largest mall by total land area and the 26th- largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area and is attracting millions of tourists every year. With its more than one thousand shops including high end brands from around the world, it is definitely a great place to ”shop until you drop”. Another relatively new feature in Business Bay is the man made Canal which is in a horseshoe shape with both ends going to the sea, Below is a link to my short video taken while walking along the elegant Canal walkway that I would like share with you. While enjoying the walk there are numerous cafes, shops and restaurants directly on both sides of the Canal that will make you want to stop and surely whet your appetite.

Why not try it yourself? Sit in one of the fine restaurants and have your meal or simply enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful scenery. Surely you will appreciate the breathtaking views of the area, especially in the evening, when the lights are lit that add even more glamour to the surroundings.
