This is my second attempt at writing a poem.

 

Poem #002-21062020

 

I am sorry if sometimes I’m short tempered,

Dealing with somewhat naive and disconnected.

I am not always seeking for perfection,

Neither, I am implying for competition.

 

We are living in the Middle East

With different working days from the rest,

So please keep in mind and bear with us

If we don’t answer your inquiries that fast.

 

Do you know our working days?

That here, it begins from Sundays?

Which evidently ends on Thursdays,

Normally, followed by two rest days.

 

I hope you will come and visit us here in Dubai,

It is just a few hours from your place to fly.

Unless you prefer to travel by land and by sea,

For sure you will arrive here in one piece with glee.
