The Square of Miracles and the Leaning Tower of Pisa Italy

For tourists, there are so many things to see and discover in this part of the Tuscany Region. Pisa, is probably well-known for the iconic Leaning Tower, but there’s so many other things to explore especially within the Piazza del Miracoli or  Square of Miracles. It is amazing to know that there are other equally interesting structures within its vicinity that I only learned during my visit. And that is The Square of Miracles, or Piazza dei Miracoli, that is recognized as one of the finest architectural complexes in the world. The Square existed in early Medieval Times and within its walls of 8.87 hectares is the three main monuments:…

    Geneva Switzerland – Stunning City

I only had one day scheduled to explore Geneva which unfortunately really did not do it justice considering its magnitude in history and of so many interesting things to see and do. Still, I’m so delighted to have an up-close and personal experience to visit this wonderful city.                                   I enjoyed the moment being in a country whose name itself is synonymous to high quality, an indelible excellent reputation earned especially in the field of Horology, particularly in watchmaking. For hours, I content myself window shopping admiring at the beautiful pieces of luxury of…

    The Rose City: Petra Jordan

Petra, also known as the Lost City,  is a famous archaeological site located  in the  southwestern desert in Jordan dating back to around 300 B.C. Famous for its rock-cut monumental buildings; it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. This was  once the setting for a thriving Christian community. With churches,  tombs and temples carved into the pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the “Rose City“. A City that is said to be “half as old as time”. There is another way to explore this magnificent City and that is by hiring a horse that takes you through to the left side of the canyon across the  mountain top. This…

Baptism Site of Jesus “Bethany Beyond the Jordan”

Throughout history and especially for Christians, the Jordan River has special spiritual significance that sets  it aside from other rivers in the world. It is in the waters of Jordan that Jesus of Nazareth was baptized by John the Baptist. It is officially known as Baptism Site “Bethany Beyond the Jordan”.  This area is considered to be the original location of the Baptism of Jesus.   Please check other blogs below about my visit to Jordan. Jerash City Jordan

Jerash is one of the best preserved classical Roman cities in the Middle East. It is said to be one of the largest Roman ruins and interesting cities beyond Italy, located in the north of Jordan.  Archaeological evidence indicates that it was inhabited at least 5,000 years ago.   The Jerash Temple of Artemis dominated the whole city which was built on one of the highest points. The most beautiful and important Temple of ancient Jerash with its ruins is still one of the most remarkable monuments left to this day to admire.   Here are the other blogs about my visit to Jordan.
