Bored
Time and time again boredom strikes, So, I am writing poetry. Something that I find comforting, Better than constantly whining. I too have another appealing passion, Salsa dancing with friends. I really do miss the beat that Latin music treat, Goodness, when can we again collectively meet? ******** – Joan Amorganda / #019-22032021 Poem, my poem, poetry, poetry challenge, quote, quotes, quotation, quotations, verse, verses

Restitution
God, many of your people are in deep grief Whose Worldview is tested shaken in disbelief Due to horrendous report that cause to derail Giving rise to doubt who, which and what is real. Help us to discern why did “it” come to be Many are despondent, let them cling to Thee To set the focus clear and to trust to you only God, despite the shameful pain and agony. Lord, bless the entire family who are hurting Restore, revive the Team as it’s mending Bestow peace upon those who face the ordeal To seek for justice, grace and love to prevail. About Poetry 1
After years of reading books intensively I was surprized by the fact immensely That most great men and women in history At some points have written pieces of poetry. Well, then let me have a try and do Indeed, why not give it a go, go too I wish I could write a sensible line To extract from this tiny brain of mine. Dear Readers, your comments are welcome I’m all ears to criticism let them come You, my contemporaries sure have much to say During this time of isolation that is full of anxiety. ********************* – Joan Amorganda #014-09032021 Poem, Poetry, My Poem, Quote,…

Survivors!
Catching Covid-19 virus is a fear that is real, Nothing to be trifled with, it’s a very big deal. Getting a positive is a challenge and a test of will, Hoping & praying that your breath will not still. From far & wide well-wishers send prayers & support, Backed up with fruits & vegs that they kindly bought. They boost the morale in more ways than one, Thoughts dwell on when can we go out & feel the sun. The days of quarantine are disconcerting & long. Are they sure that they did not get the test so wrong? Finally, the call comes in to end the seclusion.…

Post Valentine message
Unlock the truth of the word taken. Taken, as in… Been taken, abruptly taken, already taken, successfully taken, taken for granted, unwillingly taken, waiting to be taken, assuming to be taken, hoping to be taken, mistakenly taken, continually taken, wrongly taken, happily taken. Do whatever is takes, embrace life. Do not take it for granted whether taken in, or taken out. At this point I’ll take a break; it’s now your take. ************************************************************* …

May the peace of God be upon us!
When we have the peace of Christ in our hearts, thankfulness overflows. Even in the darkest of times, we can praise Him for His love, and trust in His sovereignty. With a strong faith, no one can separate us from the love of God, that is revealed to us in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. *************************************************************************** – Joan Amorganda #009-09022021 > my poem, poem, poetry, quotes, quotation, quotations, pray, prayers

Making sense?
Surprised that for a time I wasn’t making sense. Thought that I was delusional, maybe even dense. On the contrary everything I uttered I felt was germane. But for a time I was speaking gibberish, was I insane? Still confused? Oh! I had high fever then, forget it not. Blame it to Covid-19 for what I had got. – Joan Amorganda #010-12022021 my poem, poem, poetry, quote, quotes, quotations, quotation
