A visit to a Neighbor
In between my major trips I satisfied my ‘wanderlust’ by visiting neighbouring countries to my workplace – Dubai. One such country that I have been to on different occasions is Oman. A Trip to Jerusalem
From Amman, I hired a taxi to take me to Allenby Bridge, also called King Hussein Bridge, in Jordan. This is the closest land border between Amman and Jerusalem, a crossing point from Jordan to Israel and Palestine. This is the main inland route that I knew of to enter Israel. Another entry point is via Eilat, which is ideal for those who are travelling to and from Egypt. Armenia: It is one of the oldest countries and the first state in the world to adopt Christianity as its official religion. My visit to Armenia was hassle-free as it’s one of the countries that didn’t need a pre-approved visa for us Filipinos. Before I visited England, whenever asked which part of the country I would like to visit aside from London, I would always say that I wanted to visit somewhere with authentic ambiance, a rustic appeal and with medieval style. A visit to the Land “Down Under”
Australia is one of the countries that I longed to someday visit and see for myself. I knew it wouldn’t be easy. I had to decide the best point of entry knowing its massive land area.
