My admiration for “Jane Eyre” a novel by Charlotte Brontë
Jane Eyre, a novel written by Charlotte Brontë. I must confess I utterly fell in love not only with the leading character but all the more with the author herself. Charlotte has written a novel that would become one of the most famous romance novels of all time. Although I have seen movie adaptations of Jane Eyre, I did not fully realize then how beautifully the novel was composed until I read it in its entirety with the convenience of my prized Kindle. I do possess copies of the books one of which I personally purchased at a gift shop in their former home in the village of Haworth, West…

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice
The book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is considered as the most endearing love story ever written in the English language. I have seen the BBC TV Series which stars Colin Firth as Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy. This version, according to some critics is the most faithful adaptation of the book (so far). Here is my take on Pride and Prejudice after re – reading the book and after watching the movie 2005 version of the same title. ******************************************************************************* “She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me…”! Seriously? Well, “what are men to rocks and mountains?” Imagining a blissful moment one afternoon tête-à–tête With Jane…

City Walk in Dubai
City Walk in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is one of the places that I prefer to visit when I feel like going out for a meal, or to watch a movie as it is not very crowded. It is located in the heart of the city which is just few minutes away from Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. It is a great place to have a stroll especially at night when the lights are lit. As shown on below photo, the towering Burj Khalifa in the background adds glamour to the skyline. Please watch my short video below about City Walk Dubai, and do not forget to subscribe to my…

Things to do when in Taiwan
A Taipei Sightseeing Tour is probably the best option to explore most of the City’s attractions on an open-top double-decker bus. It offers unlimited hop-on hop-off access therefore giving you the freedom to visit places of interest at your own pace while in the capital City. Whether you wish to stay for hours at Taipei 101, to do your shopping. Take a nice stroll around the National Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. Or have your meal at the iconic Grand Hotel. Here is a short video clip of some of the places during the tour while aboard the city tour bus in Taipei. Here’s a short clip posted on my …

Business Bay Canal views
Business Bay area is probably one of the ideal places to live or stay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the business center district comprising hundreds of commercial and residential buildings and with more new developments already started. For those who are visiting the U.A.E for tourism or for work, I can say that it is a perfect area that can be recommended to book your accommodation considering its wide range of hotels and hotel apartments. Its close proximity to Dubai International Airport terminals makes it reachable in less than 30 minutes by Dubai Metro, or by a multitude of taxis. Whether you are on a tight budget, or…

A visit to the capital of Switzerland
More on Switzerland, the country that I admired the most when it comes to spectacular scenery. It is a nation that has clean and beautiful countryside, nice people, as well as inspiring history. It is just to name a few of the reasons why I honestly love Switzerland. There is no better way to know more about this wonderful and rich country than to visit its capital city – Bern, even just for a day. Bern is the de facto capital and the fifth most populous city in Switzerland. It traces its origins back to the twelfth century with much evidence of the medieval architecture from that time preserved in…
